The German Feather Tree

We just got back from an amazing vacation to Disney World.
The German village at Epcot inspired a trip to the attic to pull down my old feather tree.
This tree isn't really made of feathers but it has that look.
I picked it up for a $1.00 years ago at my favorite thrift store.

I set it up because I missed the German ornaments handed down to us from family.

I didn't put them on the big tree in the living room because they didn't really go with the pinks.
They are perfect for this tree.

The two Santas from my side of the family are deep burgundy red
The two brighter red ones are from Bill's side.

There are a few new ornaments sprinkled in with the old.

There are a few that are Old World Christmas Ornaments.
Those are the ones with a star hanger on the top.

The gorgeous angel on the top came from my sister in laws trip to St. Petersburg.
Isn't she gorgeous?

A sweet little glow in the corner of the dining room.
I just realized that today is my blogging anniversary.
It's hard to believe it has been four years.

  6. I just looked at Ebay for feather trees and ornaments. One tree was $350 and the ornaments range from $25 to $100. Whew! Think I'll be looking elsewhere. What a treasure you have!
