Thanksgiving Vignettes

I'm guilty.
I have some Thanksgiving decor but there is a Christmas tree in the corner.
It's not decorated yet but I just love the twinkle of the lights.
I have a few turkeys sprinkled about the house.
Can I share?

Bill pulled these start lights out of his closet and gave them to me the other day.
He's had them for a year.
Aren't they cute?

A brown needlepoint pillow and plaid throw dress the bed for late fall.

These looks won't be around for long.
This weekend I'll start decorating for Christmas.
In the meantime, I'll be thankful for my many blessings.
Peace to you,
Katie

  1. that's a perfect word for all of us who love Thanksgiving but like to get a headstart on Christmas. I love your little gobblers on the shelving!

  2. November is such a big month for birthdays in our extended family that I can't even begin to think about Christmas yet. I love all your fall accents around your home, Katie, and the star lights add such sparkle to your screen window! I may have to pull out some white twinkle lights to add to my meager autumn decor for a more festive look during Thanksgiving. Crossholidation- love it!

  5. I'm glad I got to stop by today. Of course, I love the white. It's always a basic with me. The wire corncopia and burlap is cute and crafty. Your home is beautiful. I only mix Halloween and Thanksgiving. I probably won't put up any Christmas until Thanksgiving night-mainly because I'm not in the mood to change.

  7. Katie,
    Gorgeous Thanksgiving vignettes, dear friend!
I adore several of your ironstone pieces. . .
I think I may have some of the same in my cupboard!
The plaid throw on the bed is stunning!
I will begin Christmas decorating, soon!
    Fondly,

  10. Katie,
love your fall décor, especially the turkeys and the squirrel! I have a collection of vintage turkeys which I love and can't wait to get them out every November! Won't be able to start Christmas till the week before TK, but as much as I love Christmas, kind of hate to see "fall" go!
