Creating Christmas Link Party/ Christmas Trees

Hi Friends,
I'm excited to be joining the Creating Christmas Link Party hosted by
Jann of Have A Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson.
I'm thrilled she asked me to be a part of this party.
Check out Christmas Vignettes over at Art and Sand.

The link party today is all about the Christmas tree.
I adore the twinkling, sparkly lights of a tree that is sprinkled with ornaments that have lovingly been collected through the years.

We have three trees this year.
The main tree in the living room started with our three year old pre-lit tree.
We love this tree because it has soft white lights, two colors of pine needles, twig branches and pine cones.

To decorate the the tree this year I added a string of soft LED bulbs that have an old fashioned feel.
The green herringbone tweed ribbon was threaded and twirled around the tree.

Soft green branches with frost covered rose hips were added.

I found some wonderful picks that have white hydrangeas, frost covered ivy, cranberries and pine.

Here is where things got crazy.

I decided that I wanted to leave off the bottom section of the tree.
I wanted to be able to reach every branch without standing on a step ladder.
I began decorating the tree without the bottom section.
I stepped back and looked at the tree and decided that it was too short and squatty.

I took it apart so that I could add the bottom section.

I redecorated it and added my Lenox ornament collections.

The game room tree is a flocked example from Walmart.

It is decorated with white and silver. There are a few green things hanging on this tree as well.

Our final tree is in our garden room.

Our garden room tree is a pencil tree decorated with elves, mushrooms and red and black.
I love this tree.

Thanks for stopping by!
Link up your Christmas trees.
This party will stay open until Christmas Eve.
Show us your trees and come back tomorrow to see Christmas Tablescapes and Kitchens

  6. Your tree in your living room is very realistic and I do like the bigger size in that room. The tree in your sun room is a fun addition to the space! I'm lucky to get one tree up!
