The Eiffel Tower

Our first stop in Paris was the Tour de Eiffel.

You may remember that I'm terrified of heights, so it took some persuading for me to agree to go to the top.

I stepped away from the wall to get a photo at sunset.
Bill took the rest of our photos. He got some amazing photos of the view.

By the time we were done eating dinner, the lights were on.

There is a light show every night from sundown to 1:00 a.m.
The light show occurs on the hour and lasts for 5 minutes.

Every time we happened to be in the area, I couldn't help but get a photo or two.

I loved seeing it.

It is an iconic and magical feature in the landscape of Paris.
