Earlier this week, I heard about a blogger whose photo was used in someone's self-published book on Amazon. She just happened to purchase the book and was shocked to find her photo in it! She got Amazon to remove the book -don't know if she's had luck contacting the "writer." Secondly, I would let Google or whatever browser site you saw the photos on know about the copyright violation and that you had contacted the sites.

Yes, this has happened to me more than I can count by those so-called architectural sites. In addition, I had one complete post about Texas bluebonnets posted word for word, photo for photo on some travel in Texas site. There have been other times when one or more of my photos have been used on some other site with no credit or link back. A couple of times when I contacted those sites, they apologized and offered options about how I wanted it corrected... give me credit or remove my photo.

Hope you are able to get these two sites to do what you want, but I have not had any luck with the architecture sites... totally dishonest sites.

JudithBotanic Bleuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16785345862310221087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-6649795794656606592017-07-28T12:03:17.948-05:002017-07-28T12:03:17.948-05:00Imitation is the highest form of flattery, my swee...Imitation is the highest form of flattery, my sweet mom would always say. That they "stole" your photos is another thing. For sure I would write a letter to the editor of that magazine or whatever it is asking for recognition of your idea and photos. Other than that, you know you had a great idea when others took credit for it. Maybe you should watermark your photos from now on? Great idea, by the way❣️Linda@Wetcreek BlogLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07418803664950404235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-17792594249854057652017-07-27T17:40:01.351-05:002017-07-27T17:40:01.351-05:00Keep fighting, Kate- RIGHT IS MITE.
