Late Summer Sunflower Inspiration

How in the world can August be just a few days away?
When it's so hot outside, my heart starts to long for cooler days. Let's be honest.
This is Texas. The cooler days are a long way away.
One of my favorite decorating schemes for August is the sunflower.
My old classroom was decorated in sunflowers. It was darling.
Bill was out of town this weekend so I pulled out my tote of sunflowers.
I thought it would be fun to have a look back on the different ways that I've decorated with real and faux sunflowers in the past.
I hope it gives you some late summer inspiration.

I should be signing the contract for the floors this afternoon.
I'll fill you in on the details soon.

  2. I am not ready for fall but when I am I love sunflowers too. They make the prettiest fall vignettes. I love that sweet little homemade sunflower in the pot. That is too adorable. Have a great day today.

  3. With the humidity we have had and are having in NJ I'm ready. It's been very uncomfortable. We haven't sat outside but once that's how bad it's been.

    Excited to see your floors.

Sunflowers just say happy to me. You have used them in many pretty ways
