Keep In Touch #175

Hi, Friends,
How are you doing?
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
Christmas decorating is in full swing over here.
Since Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to look different this year, I thought it would cheer me up.
Whatever you do, do not listen to "Grown Up Christmas List" this year. It made me want to cry like a baby. The governors should get together and ban it for 2020.
It's almost done but I'm not sure it cheered me up.
I told Bill to not be surprised if it doesn't all come down by Christmas day.

If you have been following along, Bill and I bought a house out in East Texas. It is a weekend house right now but it is part of our five year plan to possible relocate out there in 5-7 years when Bill can retire. It's too far of a commute if at some point he needs to go back into the office. There haven't been any recent discussions about that, however.
We spent all last week out at the house painting.

The house color is Alabaster by Sherwin Williams.
The trim is Rookwood Shutter Green also by Sherwin Williams.
I adore it.
I'll be back with a post tomorrow about our progress, future projects, things that I love about the house and property.

I have been so busy that I haven't blogged much but I shared a post about vintage and antique frames as a part of a blog hop.

I'd love it you would check that out and the other links of the hop.
Now for the features.

I've wanted to repurpose a clock for a long time. I thought this one was so cute by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S.

I absolutely love plaid and I think this tablescape by Dining Delight is just so beautiful.

Thanks so much for linking up last week. I appreciate all of you.
Have a wonderful week. Are you decorating for Christmas yet or do you wait until Thanksgiving is over?
Let me know in the comments.

  8. Kate, thank you so much for featuring my Cozy Plaid Christmas Tablescape! I really appreciate it! Thank you also for hosting this lovely party each week! So much fantastic inspiration! I'm working on my Christmas decorating but at a much slower pace this year which is allowing me to enjoy the process. Here in Canada, we have Thanksgiving in October so I'm able to get an early start. Hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!
