Lovely Lemon Decor Past And Present

Hi, Lovely Friends,
How are you? I hope you are well.

It's been a few years since we have had the lemon decor on display.

It's a fresh and fun theme for late spring and summer. I packed it up and took it to East Texas this past weekend.
I thought I'd share some older images along with some new.

We hosted a France with Friends dinner party before we went to France in 2017.

Delamere is such a versatile brown transferware pattern.  The lemons looked great with it.

I found a few printable online.

I went old school and crafted a sequin lemon.

It was time consuming but it was very fun.

I was involved in a lemon zesty Pinterest Challenge in 2020.
Except the bigger roses, the flowers were from our garden.

Yellow looks so good with blue and white but it also looks good with black and white which is why I decided to take the lemon decor out to East Texas.

I played around with kitchen accent colors when we put up the faux brick backsplash. Green looked too Christmasy, blue looked too Fourth of July, so I settled on black and white.

I dotted a few lemons around the room.
Here are a few pictures from this past weekend.

Vintage lemon collectables are hard to find but I always look for them.

I'm not quite finished tweaking it.

The green collectables got moved from the kitchen away from the backsplash.
They are in the dining room. Yellow pops well with green.

That is all I've gotten done so far.
I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit.
I'll keep you updated on our East Texas seasonal decor.

  1. Katie, I love the lemon decor. I've always thought lemons were pretty in bowls sitting around the house. Back when apples were the hot decor theme, I had lemons!

    Grace & Peace,

  3. I am a total sucker for lemons -- to eat or for decor! This is all beautiful but I especially love the table centerpiece on your French dinner with friends. It's perfect with the transferware. Darling vignettes!
