I have a little of both, as I think most people do and the best rule to follow, anyway, is what you like. Happy Week to you..xxoJudyJudy at GoldCountryCottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282585980012016892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-60794856647245246002018-07-11T23:49:00.325-05:002018-07-11T23:49:00.325-05:00The lake looks divine! I think it depends on your home, your style, what matters to you and not what is in this year or out!Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-73862811377360223332018-07-11T18:02:48.996-05:002018-07-11T18:02:48.996-05:00Thanks for hosting your party with all the great i...Thanks for hosting your party with all the great inspiration. I have several antiques and vintage shops and market posts in my Let's Go Junkin' series. One of my favorites is Vintage Marketplace in Wilmington, NC. We are headed to the beach this week and I will be doing another post on the shop when I get back. It is full of treasures! You can find the post in my sidebar in the Let's Go Junkin' series if you like finding out about other vintage shops too.

From what I have seen, the painted furniture is definitely not on it's way out, but unpainted furniture has made a big comeback. But now the trend is to mix woods and whites or painted furniture with unpainted or even stripped bare wood, which I really love because you get a bit of that shabby vintage look and the warmth and feel of authentic antiques with the wood tones as well.

Thanks for hosting!Amber Lyon Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16787947120256227380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-27663089706009535182018-07-11T01:20:40.538-05:002018-07-11T01:20:40.538-05:00Thanks Katie for sharing such great collectibles s...Thanks Katie for sharing such great collectibles store photos. I have a washstand similar to that painted one, which I dragged home from an antique store, when we were newlyweds. I'm so glad that I've never painted it! Thanks so much for hosting and hope you're having a great week.kitty@ Kitty's Kozy Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02803962513834013589noreply@blogger.com
