Non essential stores were suggested to be closed but many stores even if they have a small amount of groceries, cleaning supplies, etc. are still open. I "social distance" normally as I do not like crowds and do not go out to eat or anything like that. Truth be told that since I stopped working, I only leave the house about once a week, if that!! Joe does enough running around for the two of us!! Joe is working at Wegman's, waiting on thousands of customers over the last few days... He feels that all this is grossly overblown as do a lot of medical professionals including Doctors that I know. I only watch our local news as the national news is too sensational for me. Having worked in health care for 42 years, I am not worried about myself and we are seeing our kids and not distancing ourselves from them because we feel we need to be there for each other...God knows what will happen in the future but I feel What will be, will be...
Thanks so much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment!!
Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
DebbieDebbie-Dabble Blog and A Debbie-Dabble Christmashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09393980831584145593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-19283198766283107032020-03-17T18:30:39.859-05:002020-03-17T18:30:39.859-05:00Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the beauti...Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the beautiful scripture verses, Katie. From each post, I'm picking up positive thoughts and energy. It think if we all stay home as much as we can and follow all the precautions given we can all navigate through this with less consequences than what we have seen in other countries. Prayers for all of those that you mentioned that are in the front line of helping people in our communities. Love that you are seeing Spring and flowers growing. We have a month or more before we will see any flowers popping up here in Illinois. Love that tulip wreath. So pretty. Stay safe.
Hugs, KrisJunkchiccottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13312068546640480844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-21489986439778818372020-03-16T18:28:24.272-05:002020-03-16T18:28:24.272-05:00Katie, your flowers are beautiful and something to...Katie, your flowers are beautiful and something to take in for the here and now. There are such problems in the world now and it is a scary time for us all. I feel so badly for the changes that are occurring in so many lives and the ones you mentioned are certainly the most vulnerable. We must all do what we can to make it better for all our friends and loved ones as well as ourselves..Take care..xxoJudy Judy at GoldCountryCottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282585980012016892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-69208887368520292792020-03-16T18:15:47.908-05:002020-03-16T18:15:47.908-05:00such good and positive thoughts, Katie. It is a good time to reflect on our own lives and pray for others. you're such a real and sweet friend to us all. your yard and walkway are so pretty and cheerful, it must make you happy just being able to look at it each day. I tried a few times to leave a comment on your crockery post and my computer kept getting hung up, so saying now how much I love that wonderful antique family crock you have. take care and keep posting. xoDebra@CommonGroundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04830455848744270459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459400132166733757.post-78396090730227796392020-03-16T17:26:40.019-05:002020-03-16T17:26:40.019-05:00What beautiful flowers I especially love the Pansi...What beautiful flowers I especially love the Pansies. I'm self-isolating as much as possible (a brief trip to the grocery tomorrow; the doc on Friday). I'm just hoping the trip to Canada brought nothing home but books. But we stayed in most of the time. I'm not too worried about this though I am unsettled at times. My husband has juvenile diabetes & is 58 so I think he's high risk. He has to keep going to work every day as well....so you can pray for my sweet Charlie when he comes to mind. But we've both had so much loss in our lives already that we're ok no matter what comes. Though we would rather all the uproar die down to nothing!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00305409125105992525noreply@blogger.com
