Good Morning!
Have you been to Holland to see the tulips? Hopefully, I'll be able to check that off my bucket list someday.
Tulip season is just too brief and sadly tulips don't re-bloom in my area of Texas.
It just doesn't get cold enough.
Instead, I'll settle for some grocery store tulips and collectables with a tulip motif.
I got the tiny vintage tulip print at a thrift store.
It's a cutie.
I put another print in a frame we picked up at a garage sale in a terrifying old house.
The house has been torn down or I would show it to you.
The frame was only a dollar.
A few tulip blossoms grace a gilded shelf. These are older Raz Imports.
The Art Nouveau clock and plate were antique store finds.
We inherited the diminutive shelf from my mother in law. She had some amazing pieces from her mother. She gifted this to us when she downsized.
I can't remember where we got the stained glass window but we've had it for years.
I love this print from LaurieAnna's Vintage Home. It's a store in Canton, Texas. The store is only open during First Monday Trade Days. Add that flea market to your bucket list. It's one of the best flea markets in the country.
I bought the print three years ago and never displayed it because I didn't have a frame.
EBay to the rescue. A seller had frames in non-standard sizes.
More Raz Import tulips rest in the tool box that Bill made for me.
The colors in the print look lovely with Magnolia Home ribbon from Target.
This was actually Christmas ribbon.
Another small print hangs in the powder room down the hall.
I believe the silk tulip on the shelf is also from Raz Imports. They have great silk flowers. Because we are just a few miles away from their headquarters these pop up on the resale market quite frequently.
My tulip doorstop came from Goodwill. It had been spray painted gold but I stripped it back down to the original paint. It was only $2.00.
I love it in my vintage green school chair.
Thanks for stopping in to have a look.
Katie
