Christmas Tablescape

I'm running out of time to get all of my posts published before Christmas.
Where has the time gone?

Our new Hearth and Hand from Magnolia linens are the cornerstone of this table setting.

Vintage thrift store dishes rest on black chargers. They are Florentine pattern by Crown Ducal.
The chargers are from Hobby Lobby.

Mikasa luncheon plates in the Holiday Season pattern add another layer.
This pattern has been discontinued since 2003.

I placed the napkin across the plate and I adorned it with a black and silver ornament.
The ornaments came from Walmart a few years ago.

The stemware is June by Fostoria. It belonged to my mother in law.

The flatware is English Gadroon by Gorham.

I love these Nordic looking lanterns. They were at Joann's last Christmas.

Snowy trees and branches anchor the centerpiece.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I love a pretty table.

My Cute Christmas Hall

Good Morning!
The hall to the bathroom and office always gets a little holiday decor.

My coats and jackets get cleaned up and put in the closet.
Here's a little secret - Bill's coats are always perfectly put away.
I made the blanket scarf out of some left over wool. I guess I forgot to blog about that.
It's so easy to make. What's not easy, is getting Texas weather to cooperate so it can be worn.
I love the Black Watch Plaid. It's so crisp and classic and looks pretty hanging in the hall.

Dixie's leashes and other dog walking paraphernalia is organized.
My Hunter boots are at the ready for yard work.

The shutter cabinet that Bill made also gets some cheer.

A Currier and Ives print gets bedecked with Hearth and Hand by Magnolia ribbon.

My favorite snowman stands guard.
I won him at the school gift exchange two years ago. It was held again last night. It felt weird not being there.

That's that.
I'm thrilled to be a part of Creating Christmas again this year.
On Friday I'll be showing off a few Nordic touches and giving a lesson on how that iconic style is easy to replicate.

Check out Debbie Goes Shabby for the first installment of the party.
Thanks for stopping in.

Christmas Sneak Peek and Cozy At Christmas Tour

Hi all.
Just popping in. I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving weekend.
We had a great holiday.

I've been busy!

I have had such a fun and creative time decorating for Christmas this year.
Our major elements stayed about the same - trees, garlands, and color scheme.
This is a little rare for me. Usually, I have a new color every year.
I'm still crushing on green and I was thrilled when I saw that Joanna and Target were too.

A little black has been sprinkled in this year inspired by their Hearth and Hand line.
It took me a few days to get to Target for their collaboration with Chip and Joanna Gaines of Magnolia.
The large Santa mailbox was already sold out but there were two ornament mailboxes left.
I snagged both of them.

They go perfectly with my antique toy mailbox.

Anything mail or mailbox related was commandeered for our decor.
An intense brainstorming session prompted a trip to Home Depot for a real mailbox.

Antique postcards addressed to my grandmother are pinned to the box.
Look at the beautiful cursive handwriting. The green stamps are just too perfect.

The mailbox is flat on the bottom so it is wonderful as a receptacle for Christmas greens.
I love this!
If you would like to see more of our 2017 holiday decor, please stop by next Monday.
I'll be sharing more as a part of the Cozy At Christmas Blog Tour.

There will be four or five different blogs each day next week so there will be loads of holiday inspiration.

Here is the list of the blogs on our tour.
I'm so excited about it.

Hearth and Hand With Magnolia at Target

I don't know if you follow Liz Marie, you should.
She had a post last Sunday about a new line of home decor items sold at Target in collaboration with Magnolia Home.
Somehow I missed all the hype about this line.

The Hearth and Hand With Magnolia collection is darling.

Hearth and Hand at Target

There are adorable kitchen and dining accessories.

I loved the brass and mirrored trays.

How cute are these goat bookends?

T
There were so many cute things for Christmas.
It has a bit of a Nordic feel.

This color scheme is perfect for our home.

I can't wait to show you what I got.
I was so glad that I held onto gift cards from last Christmas.
Get to Target as quickly as you can.
