New Faux Plants From Nearly Natural

Hi, Friends,
How are you? I hope you are well. Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Nearly Natural Bougainvillea

We have a problem and my friends at Nearly Natural reached out to me with a solution.
If you have been around for a while you may know that I love to garden. I love decorating our home, inside and out, with plants and flowers.
The front porch at the new house needs some greenery so that when we drive into the driveway our hearts are filled with delight. Maybe not Bill's heart, but mine. Bill's heart is filled with delight with things like mowers, chainsaws, and chippers.

So far, juniper branches from the woods have been decorating the porch.
That was dandy for fall and winter but I really wanted something with a spring/summer look and feel.
Watering during the week isn't an option since we aren't out there full time. The porch is completely covered so rain isn't an option either. Do not even get me started on the Cutter Ants.
Nearly Natural was kind enough to send us some faux plants.
This is the third time we have worked together and I've been pleased each time.
They are the top choice for designers and decorators. Experienced horticulturalists design each item and they are crafted in the U.S. They are not afraid to say the plants are fake because sometime you just need fake, as in our case.
I chose a couple of things from Artificial Plant Collection
There were so many wonderful choices on the website and looking at their selections was so much fun.

Wood bench, wood planter, Nearly Natural Bougainvillea

In the end, the Bougainvillea in Rustic Wood Planter was my first choice. The pop of deep pink will look good for spring but it will also look good with more saturated tones for the summer.
The green planter is darling!
This is so well made and it isn't something that you might find at your local hobby store.
It is currently out of stock but check back to see if they get more in.

It is just my style but they have products in a wide variety of styles so you will find something equally adorable.
This is a substantial piece. The planter with flowers stands about 18" tall.

The tiny white flowers within the bracts look very close to real.
I haven't had much luck growing bougainvillea so going faux is a great option when you can't grow the real thing. Faux bougainvillea isn't something that I have ever seen.

Nearly Natural has a great selection of faux flowers but they have faux plants as well.
Ferns was an option but their hosta plants really appealed to me.
It is a little more unexpected than some other options which sets Nearly Natural apart from other sources.
They have plants and flowers in planters that you won't find elsewhere.
They also have wreaths. I just ordered one for the new house.
The bougainvillea and hostas were gifted. I fell in love with the wreath when I was shopping so I purchased it for my birthday.

Nearly Natural Faux Hosta

Faux Hosta, Nearly Natural

The variegated leaves look very realistic.
There is even some gray shading in the middle of the leaves to resemble how hosta might appear in the landscape with moisture and sun.
I compared this plant to something at the closest hobby store. They had nothing that looked this realistic.

These came very well packaged with no missing leaves or branches.
The hosta just needed some fluffing since they come flat. Six plants come in the set so there will be plenty of hosta to sprinkle around. Nearly Natural takes great care to ensure that their faux products look as close to real as they can be. They also offer free shipping and returns.
When possible, I love real plants and flowers but there are times and places when the real thing just isn't feasible.
Thank you, Nearly Natural for reaching out to me. It's always a pleasure.

Nearly Natural Floral Arrangement In Our Refreshed Bedroom

Hi, Friends,
How are you? I hope you are staying well and encouraged.

Nearly Natural, Faux Flowers, Peach Roses,

If you have been following, you will know that we bought a new place out in the country. It was very brown/yellow/tan. Except for the guest room, I painted the whole house white and I love it more with each visit.  In fact, I love our room out there so much that our room at home looked dingy. It looked yellow.

It seemed crazy to me that every shade of beige had to be eradicated from the new house but those colors were okay dokey here. It was taunting me.
Confession time. On Christmas Eve in 2014, I scraped the popcorn from our ceiling. The ceiling needed to be painted after that but painting ceilings is not fun so it didn't happen.
Our room was white when we bought the house. It's been blue, cream, linen and now it is white once again.

When the painting urge strikes, there is really no stopping me.
Walmart came through with an online order by 4:30 one afternoon. When it showed up at the door, Bill said, "I'll sleep in the guest room." He knew that a painting fest would begin and that it would last late into the night. He's a keeper. The color is Glidden High Endurance Plus Flat Interior Paint and Primer. It has great coverage.

You may think that white is boring. Comments on YouTube videos seem indicate that white is out.
 Not for me.
I love pops of color in a white room. Most of my white rooms have a pop of an accent color. I let Bill know that he should be prepared for some pink this month because of Valentine's Day.

White Mantel, Nearly Natural Faux Rose Arrangement,

Once the mantel was refreshed with Snowbound by Sherwin Williams, the room began to feel like a Paris apartment. Something with a modern shape needed to be added to the vignette on the mantel.
Nearly Natural contacted me at just the right time. They asked if I'd like to review a faux floral in time for Valentine's Day. I jumped at the chance to order an arrangement of roses and hydrangeas in a soft pink. The square glass vase gives the arrangement a contemporary feel. You can see it here. The cream hydrangeas offer a pretty and muted contrast to the pink roses. They are having a special if you hurry.

Nearly Natural, Roses, Hydrangeas, White Mantel

My order arrived within a few days. Nearly Natural knows how to package items so that they arrive in pristine condition. I found that true with the Christmas garland and wreath that they sent me last fall.

Nearly Natural Hydrangea And Rose Arrangement

These stems are in resin so that the arrangement looks more realistic. The raffia tie around the bouquet is a darling touch. My florist does that. The roses and the hydrangeas have variation throughout the petals to simulate natural flowers. That's important to me when choosing faux florals. I love these.

Vintage Mantel, Sherwin Williams Snowbound,

I love how they look with our vintage oil painting. Those apricot and pink tones jump off of the antique canvas.

White paint, White Trim, Faux Fireplace,

These are beautiful.

Dark Wood Bed in a White Room, Blush Pink

That is about all for now. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Thank you, Nearly Natural, for the lovely flowers.
I hope you stop by and see if they have something pretty for spring or for Valentine's Day .

Nearly Natural Wreath & Garland For My New Front Porch

Hi, Friends,
I hope you are all well.
A covered front porch was a huge item on our wish list when shopping for our country house. When we found this house, I couldn't wait to close so that I could begin decorating it for the seasons.
We have a few repairs and some painting to do but the front door was already a good color for some fall and Christmas decor. I was so excited when Nearly Natural contacted me about reviewing their products. The timing was perfect because I needed some additional Christmas decor for our new place.
The  22" Holly Berry Wreath and 54" Holly Berry Garland was in the budget for this post.

Nearly Natural Wreath

Red seems to be trending this Christmas. There was a lot of it at the Christmas store this year.

I chose the pop of red berries with traditional holly leaves and pine.
There are a lot of greenery options on their website but this collection spoke to me.
Pinecones were a must because there are so many pinecones on our new property.
It only needed a red plaid bow to complete the look.

I draped the new garland on the little ladder. It was a remnant from the attic ladder that Bill replaced recently. I painted it green before bringing it out to the new house. A crock, a watering can, and a bench draped in plaid throws round out the display.

Let's talk about quality.
This came well packaged. The garland and wreath came in separate boxes. It is full and lush looking. It only lost one sprig in transit. I don't know about you, but that is important to me when shopping for garlands and wreaths. I don't like putting my greenery back together before I get it to the check out registers.
There are a lot of berries. I don't think that these berries are weather proof but this should be fine since it is well covered.

It came fluffed and ready to hang. There was no need to reshape it once it was out of the box.

I think they look so cute with the country look we have going on.

I'm so excited about this. Thank you Nearly Natural for allowing me to review your lovely product.
I'm so pleased with these cute pieces.
