I've started listening to Christmas music.
I adore Christmas music but I only listen to it when Bill isn't home.
He doesn't share my love for the genre.
He is the unhappy recipient of many of my tunes since he turned on family sharing on iTunes. Oops.
Now he has massive amounts of Christmas music to weed through when the temps are in the 100s.
Oh well. I'm not a fan of the U2 that he downloaded.
I'm thinking about Christmas but I'm trying to stay firmly planted in here and now.
I've got a cute collection of turkeys that were begging to be displayed.
These two came from an antique mall.
They are hanging out on a silver platter that seems to be giving a nod to the next holiday.
How did that pine cone get there?
I adore the grain sack that I ordered.
Sticking a bit of seasonal decor in the china hutch is one of my favorite things to do.
Most people would never notice they are there but they are a surprise to those that will look.
This old candle pair has such wonderful color. I found them on eBay a few years ago.
This little tussie mussie came from the craft mall that closed. It's a fall favorite.
I'm so in love with this kitchy, vintage Inarco cornucopia. The deep tones with the green are so pretty. It was $5.00 at the thrift store. I'm pretty sure that I found it in the summer so it pays to get something when you see it and tuck it away until the appropriate season.
It's got a loop on the back like it was supposed to be hung on the wall.
The leaf dishes are Spode. The plates are Florentine by Crown Ducal.
The buffet got my favorite cornucopia.
All of the velvet fruit except for the tiny strawberry came from that same craft mall that closed.
I have quite a few things by this crafter. Supposedly she is a dentist in McKinney, Texas.
Her work is amazing.
Some feathers and Nandina round out the display.
I'm not sure of the table setting for Thanksgiving Day.
I've got a couple of fun patterns to choose from.
Thanksgiving is early this year so I'm not sure if I'll start my Christmas decor before Thanksgiving or not.
We will see how it goes and if I can remain in the here and now.
