Keep In Touch #18

Welcome to Keep In Touch #18.
My sub job ended on Friday at noon.
Bill went fishing on Saturday. I stayed home and straightened up the house.

I took a sublime nap on the couch.

I watched about six episodes of Fixer Upper.

On Sunday we played musical trailers.
We took the boat down to our stall at the boat and trailer storage place.
We had to unhook the boat, hook up our R.V, pull the R.V. out, unhook it, re-hook up the boat, slip it into the stall, re-hook up the trailer and tow the trailer up to some land. Unfortunately it looks like the land might be selling so we will need to find a different place to put the R.V. - if Bill doesn't decide to sell it.
It took almost all day.

We had a nice glass of wine at a winery up near the ranch.

Yesterday morning I cleaned up my closet.

I purged a trash bag worth of clothes.

I also got a much needed haircut.
It's great to have flexibility again.

Our feature this week is Carol over at Bluesky At Home.
I love her dining room makeover that she is doing in conjunction with One Room Challenge.
What a pretty serene color scheme.

Thanks for sticking with me these last few weeks.

  6. Hi Katie! Glad you made it through your sub teaching job!!! Lots of great posts here today and I like your closet!!! Pinned it and a few others, btw, because your home is lovely. <3 Glad you might get to go camping ~ bummer the owners might sell their land... I always wish that everything would stay the same, landwise. Love meadows and fields with grass and grains growing in them! <3

Hope to see you in June,
    Hugs,
    Barb :)
