It's peach season.
I received my peach cobbler recipe from my sister.
My sister in law made a special change and it's always a winner
every time it is served.
3 cups fresh or Delmonte Freestone canned peaches
1 T. lemon juice
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
6 T. melted butter
1tsp. vanilla extract
Place peaches in the bottom of a 10 by 6 baking dish.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Sift dry ingredients, add egg, tossing with fork until crumbly.
Sprinkle over peaches and drizzle with butter.
Bake at 375 for 50 minutes.

Bake at 375 for 50 minutes.
Check to make sure the crust is lightly browned and bubbly.
Serve with Breyer's Natural Vanilla ice cream.
We love Bryer's because it doesn't have a artificial ingredients.
This tastes like summer!

Lovely! I have a fridge full of peaches that my next door neighbor has shared with me. I must make something!!! Hubby has some with ice cream at night!
ReplyDeleteWe cut down all of our summer fruit trees when we put in a sport court a few years back. I miss them so much!!!!
XO Kris
I used the rest of mine with ice cream. They were really good this year.
