Modern Lamp From Parrot Uncle

I was contacted by Parrot Uncle a few weeks ago.
I told them that I'd be thrilled to review a wooden handmade table lamp
I picked out a couple of cute lamps that were not in stock.
They suggested this one.

I'll be honest with you, I really wasn't sure but this lamp was ready to ship.
It's their busy season and my busy season so I decided to make this one work.

Bill studied architecture for a while in college and he likes things that are just a tad modern.
When I opened the box, I still wasn't sure but Bill loved it.
I tried it in a few places and then it dawned on me that the color of the wood was the exact color of Bill's Paong chair from IKEA.

The red cord is perfect with the red plaid already in place for Christmas.

You're getting a sneak peek at the Christmas decor in this room.

I thought that this lamp would look so cute in a boys room.
That's what inspired the little antique car on the lamp base.

 Now, it's totally me.

This lamp is a simple, classic design that is timeless.
I love how classic design transcends different decorating styles.
The lamps from Parrot Uncle are beautiful enough to be the antique wooden lamps of the future.

The Parrot Uncle website has hundreds of chandeliers, light fixtures and lamps in a variety of current trends.
I was drawn to some of the industrial looking pendant lights.

This one is only $45.57.
Parrot Uncle offers discounts all the time with free shipping and returns.

I had fun shopping for fixtures that were farmhouse, modern, industrial, French and Tiffany inspired.

If you're looking for lighting, go check it out.
Even if you are not looking for lighting there may be something that you can't live without.
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  1. What a cute lamp! I've never seen one with a red cord before. That's kind of neat! I think it coordinates perfectly in your sunroom. I love the tartan plaid that you have in there too.
