Junkpalooza 2016 was a huge success.
Dave and I had a great time together, we ate some good food, and we each found some great junky old stuff.

Dave comes to see me once a year specifically to go shopping.
You can read his story in this post.
He is one of the bravest people I've ever known.
We took our time getting up and ready on our fourth day of shopping.
We were both tired.
I decided to take Dave home rather than meet his wife half way.
We headed toward the new Chisholm Parkway toward Cleburne.
I had no idea that this toll road existed until last weekend.
It got us to Cleburne unbelievable time.
Cleburne is the county seat of Johnson County.
It has a typical Texas downtown with old buildings and shops.
It is in need of revitalization, however.
Maybe the new toll road will give the economy there a bit of a needed boost.
Our first stop was The Bus Depot and then we went to the Red Horse Antique Mall and Cafe.
This place is huge.
Finally we went to a sweet little shabby chic shop call Heritage Home.
It was adorable.
We were tickled to see this antique barber shop.
It was one letter off for us or it might have come home with me.

Dave's wife ended up getting off early and meeting us in Cleburne. We ended the day with a trip to Sonic.
Even though we were both worn out, it was fun spending a few days with my brother.
It was like being on vacation in my own home town.
In celebration of our annual shopping event, I'd love it if you link up some of your junky finds.
Welcome to
