I told you a few months ago that I needed to slipcover our sofa and loveseat.
We got this set at Freed's about 4 years ago.
The fabric reminded me a little of burlap which was all the rage at the time.
It was adorable but it was an utter magnet for dog hair.
This set was supposed to go in the living room but it was just too much furniture.
I moved the loveseat into the sun room.
A quick repose beacons now that the new doors open outward into the room.
Dog hair detracts from the relaxing atmosphere.
I'm thrilled to say that there are no more slipcovers in my immediate future.
I will be back to show off this room with its Christmas decor.
Don't forget about our Cozy At Christmas Blog Tour starting Monday the 5th.
I'll have a list of blog participants this week sometime.
Blessings,
Katie

How lovely. I want white slipcovers but it seems so overwhelming to make them. You did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteWhite slipcovers are wonderful. They look great in all seasons and really brighten the space.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job Katie ... wish I could slipcover my couch. That will never happen.I love the look, but most of all, I love your sun room.

Your talents know no bounds, Katie! Great job on the slipcovers - they look great!
ReplyDeleteI have wanted slip covers for ever. I am going to wrap my sofa in a red and white quilt for the Christmas season,
ReplyDeleteNothing prettier than a white room.
Love it all
I love your white slipcovers! You're so lucky to know how to make them yourself. I bought my furniture with slipcovers already on them. I know all too well about dog hair woes too. My dog has black hair and it shows up on my white slipcovers so I'm always having to vacuum them.
ReplyDeleteThe slipcover is awesome. I love your sunroom. Can't wait to see it all done up for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love your slipcovers. I want to do this so I can change up the look of my grey sofa for the holidays. Now I think after seeing your beautiful covers I am going to have to do this.
