Spring is in the Air Pinterest Challenge/ Bunny In A Box

Welcome to the Spring is in the Air Pinterest Challenge
If you are coming from Decorate and More with Tip, welcome. Don't you love her cute display? That picket fence is adorable.
Many thanks to Cindy of County Road 407 for putting this challenge together. She has such a fun blog and she is a fun blogger. We did challenges like this when blogging was new and I loved it. I'm thrilled to be a part of this blog event.

Our inspiration photo is by Lisa @asimplystylednest.
What a cute tablescape and centerpiece.
Her Instagram feed is amazing.

I wanted to create my display in our dining room. It's the first room that people see when they come in the house. We didn't have a tall enough rabbit for the centerpiece, so I headed to the thrift store.
They had the perfect rabbit. I wanted a rabbit similar to one that was in the Pottery Barn catalogue.

This one had a perfect look but it was a little too weathered or rustic for me so it got a coat of charcoal craft paint. It was only $7.00.

My favorite florals this spring are some $97 cent lavender picks from Walmart.
They are super affordable and they look pretty good for faux.
Carrots were added to the display instead of eggs.

Here is one version with a wood charcuterie board made by husband.

Here is another version with a flower box that I made a few weeks ago.
These boxes are so easy to make and they are super cute for spring. You're not shocked that I chose to paint it white.

The rabbit looks like he's surveying his row of carrots in this one.

This was so much fun. Hop on over to Lora B. Create and Ponder. I just love darling her blog.
Look for the other participants in the list below.
Please got to Lisa's Instgram account and tell her hello. She will appreciate it if you pin from her account and not this blog post.
Thanks for stopping by.

  6. Love your bunny warming itself in the sun! Love both of your displays, Katie!!! What a great idea to repaint your bunny. The bunny I used for my display needs its ears re-cemented and could use a bit of a spring refresh...

    Off and hopping,
    Barb :)

  14. This is really cute. I've been buying some of that lavender too but I only got a few clumps and my Walmart hasn't had any since. I guess the word got around. :-D I like both versions a lot but that charcuterie board sure is unique and that always grabs my attention.
