Fishing Trip To East Texas

Hi Friends,
Things were slow at Bill's work so we snuck away to the lake for a little fishing and some relaxing.

The weather was just about perfect.

Frogs were hanging out under the cushion covers on the deck.

Eagles spend the winter in this part of Texas. We saw one about thirty minutes after we got out there.

We had to run to Walmart on Friday.
We stopped in at a little shop along the way. I thought this rooster was cute. He'll get a new ribbon.

I also picked up this measuring tape for the kitchen drawer. That way I won't forget to return Bill's favorite to the tool box in the garage.

Since we were returning today, my favorite antique store was open.

This little transferware plate is a cutie.

I usually pick up a heart by this artist when I'm there.

This is my first square ironstone bowl.

I almost left this last one behind.

I knew if I did, I'd regret it in December and January.

What a darling original watercolor.

That is it for now, my friends.

I hope you are well.

  4. Hi Katie: That is some fish! Was it good or do you throw them back? I love your treeasures and I especially love the little transferware dish. Black and white so precious and you are right about the painting it will look so pretty come winter time. I may not make it to the party tomorrow. We just heard that our power will be out again, but we are at the mercy of them as to the timing..Happy Monday..Judy
