A Spring Wreath/A Pinterest Challenge

Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge.

A big thank you to Cindy @ County Road 407 for hosting this event. She is a faithful leader.
This is a great time to look at spring inspiration.

If you are coming from Eye Love Knots, welcome. How I wish I could create like they do over there.

Our inspiration this month comes from Create, Craft, Love. How adorable is this wreath?

I'm just going to put it right out there that mine looks nothing like the inspiration photo.
I really wanted to use a section of hose but all our hoses are in use and I didn't want to cut one apart due to the hose shortage.
Wait. What? Oh yeah, that's toilet paper.

I saw a window, wreath and rabbit decor piece at Hobby Lobby. I really wanted to get it.
I was trying to have a lower buy February plus I decided that I had all the necessary stuff to make this wall decor. myself.
I had a chippy white window. It's a staple in our sunroom.

I also had a faux boxwood wreath.
I even had a bunny silhouette. I love that word. Do you love that word?

The running bunny silhouette came off of an Easter sign from Dollar Tree last year.
I sanded off some glitter because I wanted to paint this piece. Dollar Tree likes the glitter.

I gave it a couple of coats of white paint and added it to my window, wreath wall decor.

If have been following for a while, you may have read that I don't like orange.
I"ll eat my hat right here. I have loved some little pops of orange this spring.
An orange ticking stripe bow was added to the wreath. This ribbon came from Walmart at some earlier shopping trip.

This room is such a haven for us.

I've done a lot more Easter decorating this year than in previous years.
It's giving me a little extra cheer.

If you like it, *Pin It*
My wreath doesn't look like the inspiration at all but I hope that this inspires you to use what you have on hand to create something adorable.
May you be blessed and safe!
Next up is Barb from French Ethereal. She always shares something beautiful.

  1. This is adorable Katie and repainting the bunny was a great idea. You won't be cleaning up glitter for months.

A beautiful room full of light. I can see why it's a favorite spot.

  7. I hear ya on the orange issue! I never used to like it, but I've come around and really appreciate it in the Spring and the Fall...and maybe a bit in the summer. Love the crisp, fresh look of your arrangement-the white with the green and the orange and white stripe-perfection!

  9. I am not a fan of orange, either, Katie, but your pops of orange look pretty. You did a great job and oh how I love that chippy window.

  10. Your wreath adorned with the bunny turned out so cute. I'm also not a fan of orange but the orange striped ribbon that you used for this project is the perfect finishing touch.

  13. Katie, I love the idea of using a window frame as a wreath. It’s always great to reuse and repurpose something we already have. The big stripe bow is a great addition.
