Welcome to another fabulous blog hop hosted by Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home.
Her decor is always so darling. She is also a fabulous blog hostess.
If you are coming from Botanic Bleu, I'm so glad you are here. I just love blue bonnets and Judith's tablescape is adorable.
How are you? I'm so glad you are here.
Easter is going to look different this year but it is on the way, regardless.
I fluctuate between needing an escape and drawing closer to God through all of this.
I'm very cognizant that we are in the midst of something beyond any of our control and that there is something I am supposed to learn. I try to find peace in each and every day.
I've pulled out almost every bit of Easter decor in an effort to make our home a safe haven during our stay at home order.
It's all about spring flowers and bunnies.
Creating helps create a sense of calm.
I missed decorating the bannisters for Christmas because we were waiting for our flooring company to fix the stairs. When they were finally repaired, I went and got some floral garlands from Hobby Lobby.
It was so providential. We had no idea that we would be home bound for the spring and that I would need all the cheer right now.
It is a mix of florals but it has the feel of wisteria.
I love wisteria.
I am foraging in the yard to bring in some live florals.
Every bunny has been put into use this year.
I even put up an Easter tree to add some sparkle to the living room.
It has bunnies but it also has chicks, carrots and other motifs.
I was tickled to see that I had a German antique carrot ornament.
I got this last fall from my step mom's house.
I love it.
I did have to dig through the Christmas boxes in the Hobbit closet to find it though. Haha. Not fun.
In the dining room, each shelf of the corner cupboard got some vintage looking bunnies.

These all came from Tuesday Morning.
The kitchen table sports one of my favorite rabbits. We have had it for years. I think it was a Big Lots find.
I'll have a post about a few kitchen changes in the next week or so.
The garden room is decorated in green with pops of orange.
I made some fabric carrots and radishes last week. It was easy and fun.
Green is one of my favorite colors so I've used a lot of fun spring greens.
We love the mantel that we got from our friends. It's been fun to decorate this spring.

I got new bedding right before the world was put in time out. I just love it.
We got the French tapestry from an antique shop in East Texas. It may be one of the first places I go when all this is over.
Finally the guest room got a spring comforter and some cute needlepoint pillows.
I hope you enjoyed this little snap shot into what things look like over here.
Sometimes I host the whole family for Easter but this year it will be just the two of us.
We will have church on line in our cozy garden room. We'll have a lovely brunch. We'll reflect on what all of this means. We'll be thankful for a time to slow down. We'll connect with our children and extended family through phone or Facetime.
Even though we live in scary times, we have a lot to be thankful for.
I hope that you have a lovely Easter. I hope that you are well. I appreciate each and everyone of you.
Happy Easter!
Be sure you head over to see, Paula at Virginia Sweet Pea. I think you will love her sweet baskets.
Thanks for stopping by.
Katie
