Some Pretty Flower Arrangements And An Easter Tablescape

Hi. Friends,
How are you? I hope you are well.
I arranged some flowers for Easter and I felt compelled to take some pictures. The images were so pretty that I thought I'd share them with you.

Uri did a number on my pansies but they've finally recovered enough so that I can pick some blooms.

The pansy on the left in the image above is one of my favorite color combinations.
They are stunning when the sun shines on them.

Pansies are one of my favorite flowers. They look so cute peeping from a vase or a pitcher. I'm so glad that there is still time to enjoy them before the heat of summer is upon us.

I caught Bill staring intently out the window.
I asked him what he was looking at.
"I'm looking at this weird box."

"Okay, okay."
The box that I think is cute, he thinks is weird. The lid was on it so he couldn't see the candle.
Maybe that is why he thought it was weird.

An antique coin dot muffineer has become a vase for more pansies. Fern, pachysandra, perennial vinca provide some green in the arrangement. Oh and there is some kale in there too.
A muffineer is a small jar with holes in the lid for sprinkling sugar onto the top of muffins. Who knew?
Maybe you did.

My prairie verbena made the trip home so that I could enjoy it in town too.
The brass bunny has been with us for years and years.
He got polished recently so he's looking pretty good for his age.
The milk glass pitcher belonged to my parents.

Some grocery store roses will tide me over until my roses are blooming. There is a geranium bloom in there too because it broke off in transit. I hate when that happens.

The chocolate box is a recent eBay find. The colors are so fun.

The egg box was tucked away in a drawer until yesterday.
I'm glad I found it before Easter.

Petite Fleur by Villeroy and Boch sets a pretty table for spring.

Using the coin dot pitcher as a vase came to me in the middle of the night.
I'm a little blown away by how pretty it is with the tulips.
Some of the best ideas come in the middle of the night, don't they?

Raffia bunnies and vegetables are scattered about the table.
The placemats were made from cotton duck from Joanns. The color is lichen.
I waited a year to see that color in person since it doesn't look the same on the website.
I went to Joanns last fall but it was too crowded for my comfort. I didn't stay to get fabric cut. I felt sure I'd end up with more than fabric, if you know what I mean.

The crystal and sterling are from family.

Bar towels from IKEA will serve as napkins.

This was so much fun to put together.

We're staying home this weekend. We need a break from the work out in East Texas and we're taking care of a sick kitty.
He is 16, but a month ago, he was out in the woods with me while I weeded vegetable beds. Now, he can barely make it up the stairs. He is such a sweet cat with such an adorable personality. He's got some antibiotic and a steroid and I hope that they work. We will be really sad if they don't.

That's all for now.
I hope that you are having a wonderful week.
If you like it - pin it for me.
Come back on Friday for a little blog hop hosted by Follow The Yellow Brick Home.

Lemon Tablescape

We had our France With Friends group over to discuss a few more things before our amazing trip in September.

I have been crushing on lemons of late.
I just knew that our new Delamere China by Spode would look darling with pops of yellow.

I found a package of citrus napkins at Tuesday Morning.
They even have a touch of brown.
Perfect!

The marble and metal centerpiece came from Hobby Lobby years ago.

The glassware came from my mother in law.
It is June by Fostoria.

The chargers are plastic and I picked them up at Hobby Lobby a few years ago.
I never used chargers until I started blogging. Now I want them in an array of colors.

I made the ticking placemats last fall.
I never blogged about them because life got in the way.

The flatware is English Gadroon by Gorham. This set came from my mom.

The green vases are just recycled bottles. They are filled with Asters but any white stemed kind of flower will do.

It looks pretty on our refinished dining table.
Thanks for stopping by.
That is it for my lemons. They are all put away for something with a slight nod to fall.
Have a wonderful day.
