Closet Redo

If you were a teacher during the 1990s, you may be familiar with sequined themed sweater.
The were the cat's meow, so to speak.

The bee's knees, if you know what I mean.

I don't have any blingy sweaters but I do have some clothing items that I may never wear again.

I saw this trick on YouTube.
Turn all the hangers backwards.

When an item is worn, washed and rehung in the closet, the hanger is turned around the other way.

I've done it so at the end of the year, I'll know which items have been worn and which have not.

I have a slight cardigan problem.

I love black cardigans. Long ones, short ones, waterfall, asymmetrical - I love them all.
How many black cardigans does one woman need?

Dresses?
Am I really going to wear dresses anymore?

We shall see at the end of a year.

Even with my necklace organization system, I've managed to lose a necklace.
It was costume but it was cute and it's bugging me that it's lost.

Rebekah made the darling angel in school. It's made out of coffee filters.
I re-glued it at Christmas and decided not to pack it away.
A mom never stops thinking about her children.

I put all my nail polishes in a inexpensive jar from Walmart.
It is easy to see each color.

I should have written a message on the chalkboard for you.

It may say something like,
"Enough with the black sweaters, already." or "No sequined sweaters allowed"

Possibly some of the words of Alice Cooper apply.
"Schools out for summer."
"Schools out forever!"

"No more pencils."
No more books.
"No more teacher's dirty looks."

That last part isn't true.
Once a teacher - always a teacher.
I'm sure I'll still be able to give someone a good teacher stare.
Haha.
I will update you on the closet and cardigan situation.
Have a good day!

  3. Looks great! I rarely wear dresses. Seems like I wear skirts to both wedddings and church. Much easier to just pull on. :)
