"Behold I am making all things new." Rev. 21: 5
I have been amazed by my roses this year. I think they are more beautiful than they have been in years.
If you have visited my blog before you know about our terrible heat last summer.
72 days of triple digits.
We also were in the midst of a terrible drought.
Last year at the onset of the drought the roses were struck with some kind of leaf spot.
Two years ago, I didn't have many blooms because Mr. Bill accidentally pruned the canes during the winter at the same time he pruned his mom's tea roses.
He cut off all the emerging blooms.
I love the resilience of nature that produces such
beauty after a drought.
I love how Mr. Bill did these concrete round pavers.
I had to go out and cut a few.
This ball jar was holding vintage buttons. It looks so fresh with the roses.
The milk glass was from a thrift store.
The roses are a week or two early with their blooms.
We had such a mild winter.
Whatever the combination of weather elements, it has created an explosion of color on our side yard.
