It's gone.
The sweet little wooden loveseat.
The centerpiece of my first ever all white room.
The feature of so many blog photos.
The recipient of so many pillow combinations.
A chameleon of sorts as she had so many different looks.
It was so sweet.
You may not realize that I am a rescuer of lost and abandoned furniture.
I snatched this piece from the crushing, gnarling jaws of the garbage truck.
One little arm was broken but I didn't care that she was less than perfect.
Nobody sat on it except for me and the dog.
The sofa and the loveseat in the living room have gotten a divorce.
I don't think it's a trial separation now that the little white settee is gone.
The thrift store fell in love with her at first sight.
Who wouldn't?
You will see the changes as soon as I can get some new photos.

We will miss seeing it, but cannot wait to see what you do now with the room.
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy bee and always inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThe sofa and loveseat got divorced? Looking forward to the rest of the story for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to let go of cherished pieces and I'll miss seeing your sweet little settee. Change is hard, but I'm thinking you've found a furniture arrangement you like better and I can't wait to see what you've done!
ReplyDeleteOh so sad to see your precious piece go. I know the room will look awesome with new pieces. I bet someone will snatch up that Settee quickly. In fact it probably won't make it out of the back room!!!

ReplyDeleteSorry to see her go though......I had to sell my settee too so I understand completely.

ReplyDeleteIt was such a pretty little settee, but I look forward to seeing what you replace it with!
ReplyDeleteAwww, at least you have documented all of her different looks. Hopefully you are happy with something new to take its place. Thanks for sharing at Best of the Weekend!
