Video Tour Of Our Garden and Yard June 2018

Hi friends,
It's a beautiful day. We finally got some rain! Whoo hoo.

In between neck and shoulder pain, I've been working in the yard.
I finally broke down and went to the doctor. I'm so thankful for muscle relaxants and extra strength Ibuprofen. It's been three + weeks of pain.
I've got a few photos below but I wanted to make a quick video tour.

A big thank you to the birds for the sound effects.

Just FYI.
Bill did all the stone work and built the deck! He even moved the shed from a friend's yard and built it here. He has done all of the fencing himself. He is a rock star!
Some of the decorative accents and bird houses were hand me downs or trash picks.
People throw away garden elements frequently I've noticed.
I'll be back with more photos and a Liriope story soon.

  1. Everything looks amazing, Katie! I can't wait for our yard to look a little more established like yours.

    Hope your neck gets better!

  2. Please take care of yourself!

I pushed myself one summer because we were having a big party and I just worked through my pain. I ended up with back surgery.

  3. Oh Katie, it''s wonderful! I adore your glass potting shed and the movie. But I'm so very, very sorry to hear about your neck pain and back. Please take care and do your best to lay low if you can. You need time to heal.
