Keep In Touch #68

Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I hope you are well.
This week I shared:

Clearly I have a thing for trays this week.

I've been in the garden and at the garden center.
Taming my English Ivy is the priority.

I removed most of the ivy and monkey grass.
I divided my irises and then planted some impatiens. They will only get about an hour of sunlight.

This little guy was very reluctant to move.

Home Depot had some rope to make some bee skeps. If you love to craft and haven't done this, you are missing out. It's a lot of fun.

The last of the pansies are being removed from all the flower pots.
I decided to press some.

I've never done this before so we'll see how it goes.

I used one of my heavy duty garden books.

We're out for my birthday dinner tonight.
My daughter's birthday is tomorrow night.
On Saturday night Bill is throwing a 60th birthday party for me with some family and a few friends.
It's a fun week.
I'll be back with some reflections on this milestone soon.
Our feature is this outstanding garden trellis. It's gorgeous.

Now for the link up.
Have a great week.
Katie

  3. What kind of snake was that in your garden? I think I've seen one of those in my yard, too.

  4. That snake looked pretty scary. Yikes! Hope he was not poisonous. Your party is always a good one to see the inspiration and great things peeps are doing.
    Have a great week.

  7. Hi Katie. Happy Birthday and thanks for the party this week. Would you believe I think I have that same little red tool carrier? I will do something with it for July and we shall compare. Getting rid of ivy is very hard. I have come to terms with it and am just letting it green up the Secret Garden. It seems like a relief during the hot summer..That garden screen is really beautiful, I will go over for a visit..Happy Wednesday..Judy
