How are you?
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I hope that you are hanging in there.
The heat has arrived. It mades gardening a little miserable. Some plants are doing really well. Other plants look a little stressed. It got hot so quickly.
I got some pictures and I'll upload them for you this weekend.
I uploaded a post about the Cross Timbers region of the United States. I find that stuff interesting because it involves Geography, Nature, and History. I live not too far from one of the early Native American settlements in Fort Worth. I learned about the Cross Timbers Region from a book on the history of Fort Worth. The dense forest filled with green briar, grapevine and post oaks is what we are dealing with behind our fence.
I also shared the styling of our little baker's rack out on the deck.
The shed project may be at a standstill until we get a cool down. We will. I just don't know when.
At least, I hope we will or it will be a loooong summer.
Bill took some camping stuff down to the trailer and we work sporadically on organization.
I went to Hobby Lobby tonight on my way back from picking up the Mazda at the dealership.
They have fall decor.
Usually, I feel this is rushing it too much. However, after the past 5 months of hearing about #pandemic and supply chains, I felt this was a good sign.
It means people are working!
I would like to open a factory in Texas so all this stuff can be made here.
Bill's bank never wants to loan me any money so...
Now for the features.
I love this landscape makeover by MaryJo of master PIECES of my life.
This is a labor of love and the results are going to be beautiful as the plants mature.
Head on over and see the after pictures.
Carol from Bluesky at Home shared this darling Decoupage lamp.
