Keep In Touch #123

Welcome to Keep In Touch.
How are you? I hope you are all doing well.
I'm so happy that you are here.
We managed to keep busy over the weekend even though it was ridiculously hot.
We finally got a bit of a breather on Sunday night and Monday. I'm not a fan of August in Texas.
In spite of the heat, Bill worked on our new arbor early Saturday and Sunday morning.
My nagging finally got him to call it quits.
We used to have a very simple arbor here years ago until it disintegrated where the post met the concrete. Bill's design is much more substantial. We still have to design the sides. This was definitely a Pinterest assisted DIY. We referred to arbor designs many times throughout each step of the build.

It leads out to the Woodland Realm.
I need to change the name to The Armadillo Playland because he or she is having a grand old time digging up grubs. The soil is certainly aerating.

I did some deep cleaning upstairs while he worked on that.

The rug in the gameroom is by Magnolia Home.
It is the Red/Blue Lucca Rug. We've been so impressed with it that I finally got online with Living Spaces and ordered a rug for the living room. We've lived with the dining room rug in the living room for a year.

It is the James Rug in Natural/Fog. I love it. It is so soft.
Shhh. The cat hasn't discovered it yet. As soon as he finds a new rug, it gets barfed on.

I feel like such a grown up.
That is about it for us.
Now for the features.

I love this armoire makeover by Kris of Junk Chic Cottage.
Wow. What a great idea.
Her husband, Terry is a wiz with a power tool and Kris has the best ideas.

Here is a little fall inspiration for you from CoCo at The Crowned Goat.

I can't wait for mums!
Have a wonderful week.
