Cozy January Decor In Blue and White

Hi, Friends,
How are you?
I hope you are staying warm and well.

For the last couple of years, blue has been my go to color scheme for the winter months.

My favorite chair is slipcovered in a ticking stripe so that is the jumping off point for our color scheme.

I adore a blue and white scheme in January.

The straw flower pattern also called everlasting flower was created by Meissen around the time that the blue onion pattern was created. When dividing up some blue and white from my grandmother. I was more drawn to the everlasting flower pattern rather than the onion ware

but I won't say no to either motif at this point.

A freshly painted cabinet in the dining room got a few bits as well.

The candle and the cross were Christmas gifts.

I have collected some different valance sets to use in the kitchen windows.

The blue and white buffalo checked curtains are my favorite in January.

Blue is a calm scheme after all the red is removed.

A flannel heart came from the Christmas shop many years ago. It's a favorite accent to pull out during winter.

The thrift store had three Waverly valances in the Fairhaven pattern.
I used two in our bathroom window.

They have the Scandinavian feel that I was going for.

The plants love these windows.

Caroline loves to hang out here too.

That is about it for now.

I'll be back with some East Texas updates.
Stay safe.
