An Antique Hutch Decorated For Spring and Easter

Hi, Dear Friends,
How are you? I hope you are well.
Spring is here! I have a few Easter bits to show you.

I found a darling brown transferware gravy boat when I did a little antiquing in the town closest to our East Texas house. It prompted a reset in "Starsky, The Hutch."
This cupboard has become one of my favorite pieces to style for the seasons. We found it in East Texas a couple of years ago.
Bits of brown transferware were sprinkled in it next to the white ironstone that is on permanent display.

I may be the only one that notices the little holiday knick knacks nestled inside.
I love sprucing it up every so often. It will get a redo next week after Easter.

Let's open the doors so that we can have a look inside.
A faux moss covered bunny congregates next to an egg that was made last year.

Hobby Lobby has these rabbits but this one may have been thrifted.

I love brown transferware from the Aesthetic Movement.

Little touches of purple bring back memories of my childhood. It was my favorite color.

An advertising calendar plate from 1911 was passed down from my grandparents.
Maybe my grandmother got it as a little girl. She was 13 in 1911. The graphics are just adorable. It is one of my favorite Easter decorations.

The majolica pitcher was an eBay find.

Another moss egg or two and some paper mache´ bowl filler balance the opposite corner.
The bowl filler came from Hobby Lobby when they reopened after the shut down.

The image below shows how it relates to the living area.

Here it is in relation to the front hall.

That's all for now.
I hope you have a wonderful week.
Katie
