Hello everybody!
Can I share with you one of my favorite decorating items?
Do you have any vintage Ball jars?

Do you have any vintage Ball jars?
Ours came from Canton, Texas @ First Monday Trade Days.
My sister-in-law and I bought some to use as vases for our niece's shower.
I have used them over and over again.
I picked up another one just recently.
They are the perfect shade of aqua.
or fall.
I've seen them in many antique stores and on e-Bay if you would like to pick one up for yourself. Etsy has oodles of them.
They're about 10 - 20 dollars a piece.
They are also adorable with nothing in them. This little one with the glass top has been around here for ages. I don't even remember where we got it.
Our grocery store had these reproduction Ball jars a few weeks ago. A box of six was under $10.00.
We're all using them for drinking glasses but they would also be cute as votive holders.
They've been seen in abundance the last few years but I think they are as popular as ever.
Love them!
Have a great day.

I love the blue/green color, especially the one with the handle. Really adds such a pretty touch wherever you have put them.
ReplyDeleteI collected over 100 blue Ball jars in 3 different sizes over the summer before our youngest daughter's wedding back in 2008. I actually bought crates filled with them for just a few dollars! I only kept a handful for myself, but I do love using them for flowers and mantel decorating. My favorite photos are the ones with the red gingham tray. I love the blue and red together!
ReplyDeleteThat is an incredible price. I'm glad you kept a few for yourself and I bet your daughter's wedding was beautiful.
DeleteI love the blue ball jars. They're my favorite color. I think they look so pretty with fresh picked flowers in them. You've used them in so many great ways around your house. I need to buy some. I once had some, and then sold them a long time ago. That's something I regret now.
