Valentine's Day 2015

I was able to put a few Valentine touches out before my class gave me some sort of plague.
Not really but almost.
I have felt so bad all week but was only able to stay home on Tuesday.
We have a shortage of subs. If you would like to come work with me let me know.
:)

This will be picture heavy. I'll spare the words this time around.

Welcome!

The Entryway:

Dining Room:

I made the heart a couple of years ago.
I added the broach this year. I love old keys on hearts.

Coffee Table with some vintage Valentines.

The couple is actually from an old lamp.

The little girl cut out came from the antique mall.

I was drawn to pinks this year instead of red.

Thanks for stopping in.
There is still time to join my Valentine's Day link party.
Have a great weekend.

  1. I love to stop by and get a pick me up by looking at what you've been up to.

  2. You have some pretty things in your home. The little hearts scattered about are cute for Valentines Day. Sorry to hear that you've been sick. I used to get sick a lot when my kids were little. They would bring stuff home from school and I would catch it every time!

  3. I love your little touches of Valentine's Day sprinkled throughout your house, Katie! I haven't caught any of the bugs going around this year, but between working in a clinic and visiting our grandchildren, it's only a matter of time! I hope you feel better soon!

  5. Good morning Katie,

You mentioned that your work is short on substitutes. My mom is set to retire this May and I'm sure would love some part-time work in the future. She's currently a teacher at Martin, so she has the appropriate experience. If possible, could you e-mail me the contact information so I could put her in touch with your school?

    Thanks

  6. Hi Katie, love your touches of valentines. That little cut out girl is very sweet and I'm glad you are feeling better. I remember working at the school. I had a cold constantly and their little hands were always all over me..But it was the greatest job I have ever had..Happy Tuesday..Judy
