Fall on the Baker's Rack

I showed you the changes I made to the dish dresser for fall.
The baker's rack got a change up as well.

The copper teapot and coffee pot were from my grandparents.
They've been up in the game room for about 20 years and were very tarnished.
We had some Bar Keeper's Friend under the kitchen sink.
It made the the tarnish fade away.

I worried that it brightened them up too much and that I'd ruined them.

Nope.
They are pretty and fun for fall and they still have enough vintage patina.

The little crow came unfinished from Michael's for only a $1.00. It was fun to paint him for the season.
Last time I was there they still had this item.
I'm not sure if he is still only a dollar.

Last Saturday was a beautiful day for taking pictures.

What you can't see is Bill crouching in the corner to get out of the way.
His knee kept getting in the pictures.
He was a little annoyed with me for disturbing his peace.

He was a grumpy because it was his second weekend cooped up in the house with a sinus infection.
Don't you hate when that happens?

The camera snapping was annoying enough that he moved up to the game room to watch a movie.
He wondered why I was blogging on a Saturday.

Blogging doesn't stop for sinus infections.

Thanks for stopping in.

  1. You sunroom is so pretty! I love the natural light it gets and the neutral décor you used in there. The copper kettles are so pretty mixed with the greenery and white in the room. Sometimes, you just have to take advantage of good light for your blog pictures!

  3. Your room is so cozy! Love the Baker's Rack....makes me rethink where mine is being used! Yes, I think it would be grand out where it can be seen....
