Good Morning!
The hall to the bathroom and office always gets a little holiday decor.
My coats and jackets get cleaned up and put in the closet.
Here's a little secret - Bill's coats are always perfectly put away.
I made the blanket scarf out of some left over wool. I guess I forgot to blog about that.
It's so easy to make. What's not easy, is getting Texas weather to cooperate so it can be worn.
I love the Black Watch Plaid. It's so crisp and classic and looks pretty hanging in the hall.
Dixie's leashes and other dog walking paraphernalia is organized.
My Hunter boots are at the ready for yard work.
The shutter cabinet that Bill made also gets some cheer.
A Currier and Ives print gets bedecked with Hearth and Hand by Magnolia ribbon.
My favorite snowman stands guard.
I won him at the school gift exchange two years ago. It was held again last night. It felt weird not being there.
That's that.
I'm thrilled to be a part of Creating Christmas again this year.
On Friday I'll be showing off a few Nordic touches and giving a lesson on how that iconic style is easy to replicate.
Check out Debbie Goes Shabby for the first installment of the party.
Thanks for stopping in.
Katie
Here is where I party:
Your hall look pretty with the white background and dark accents. I am craving white walls like yours!
ReplyDeleteYes it is a cute hall! I love that little white cabinet.
ReplyDeleteYour hall looks like a cozy spot to come home to!
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf you made Katie! It would get plenty of use here in UT. :) I really need a pair of Hunter boots!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Katie,
ReplyDeleteHunter boots.... on my Christmas wish list... my old ones were worn out. Your hall looks ready for Christmas AND for you in cold weather.

Isn't it fun to have a favorite snowman? I don't bring the snow folk out until after Christmas -- there just isn't room and they can go for awhile, but it's fun seeing them now. Almost done with my home post. I should have done as you did and broken it down in pieces!
