Keep In Touch #9

Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I hope that you are getting around to visit some of the other blogs in our party.
This week I'm working on our dining room wall.
Stenciling is slow going - let me tell you.

We've been working on this room for about a month. Usually, I'm not so pokey.
We still need some drapes and some sunshine so we can do a reveal.
I'm about to paint some Easter eggs in blue and white.

They will be Nordic in design.

It's so much fun.

I'm also in the process of cleaning up my closet and getting a few new things for spring. In a few weeks, I start a long term sub job which will last about six weeks.
I'm adding a few florals and some color to my wardrobe.

Bill and I have planned about six weeks of meals so life can flow a little smoother.
He saw a list I'd started and thought he'd joke around making his own. He's got some pretty good meal ideas, if you ask me.

His Kobi Beef Burgers with blue cheese crumbles is my favorite. He doesn't even like blue cheese so I'm not sure where he came up with that one.
He thought he was super cute and clever.

He is.

This past week I shared the progress on the dining room thus far.

Ten of my favorite IKEA products were spotlighted in a post published last night.

Thank you for linking up last week.
Our feature is from Lauren @ Wonderfully Made. She made a fabulous special dinner for Valentine's Day and it all looks wonderful.

I hope you will link up again to this weeks party.

  9. You amaze me. I wouldn't even attempt to stencil a wall even though I LOVE them. It's going to look amazing. And I'm sure y'all here this all the time but I totally thought that was a picture of Bill Gates! LOL. Thanks for the Link party too. :)

  11. Hi Katie! Your hubby is cute and I like both of your ideas with a list of what's for dinner for the next six weeks. That is probably my biggest nemesis... dinner. I've never been a great cook but I can follow a recipe! And who doesn't like to eat??! I also like how your dining room is coming along. Saved that photo and your closet cleanout to my Perfect Storage and Decorating boards for you and for my readers.

    Thank you for the ideas!
    Barb :)
