Happy 4th Of July

I don't know what I've been doing but I failed to decorate early enough for 4th of July. 
Usually, we aren't home but today we get to stay home. The kids will all be here for a very rare family lunch. 


I love being home for 4th of July and pulling out patriotic decor.

  3. It all looks wonderful Katie! I love little Miss Liberty, the star pillow, and the fire truck. I have a fire truck and have never pulled it out for my patriotic décor. Why not? :) I've had mine up for some time, so I'm going to start taking it down tomorrow. Ready for a change.

  4. I love the words you wrote with your decorations. I agree returning to the scriptures gives us peace in these times. As I listened to the song God Bless America yesterday I thought why don’t we sing that more? To ask God not only to bless us but stand beside and guide us, what could be better? I also thought about the time we take each day to complain about our government. What if instead we spent that time in prayer for our nation?

  7. I got a few small flags in my hanging flower pots and one in my front flower bed is all.
    I really like that small window pane with the wreath and flag
    It has sure been a hot 4th here in central Missouri
