Keep In Touch #62

Hello, Friends!
I have been a little out of the blogging loop the last few weeks. I went to link up to the Scoop and they are gone!
Another link party bites the dust. This really echoes what I've been wondering about blogging. I intend to keep blogging. Every time I think I'm ready to throw in the towel, I just have to check in with my friends and if something is going on, I want to tell you about it. I enjoy the process of writing. It helps me to translate feelings into words and therefore process them.

Last week I wrote about our new deck furniture
I got my seeds planted. There are some annuals left to plant in the back yard. The ones in the front are finished.
I just noticed the cat in the picture above. How funny.
The weather turned cold again as soon as I got my flowers. We didn't get down to freezing though.
If we do dip down, I'll cover up all my flowers.

My wisteria looks amazing.

A big thanks to my landscaper for the talented trimming. It took four years and all we had was one bloom last year so I was ready to chop it down. He told me I couldn't and that he'd fix it. He did.

Our feature this week is this box from The Crowned Goat

I love planter boxes inside and I love the corner brackets. Cute box with a special meaning.
Please tell your friends about our little link up.
With so many link parties ending, I hope ours will still be friendly but will grow.
Katie

  1. Katie, thanks for hosting every week. I look forward to it on Tuesdays. I know there's plenty of behind-the-scenes work involved, but I appreciate your providing a place for me and my fellow bloggers to share our thoughts and ideas.

  2. Thanks for having us over each week. I know hosting a link party is work, but I just don't understand why everyone is giving them up. They are about the only way to find what people are doing and new blogs. No one wants a blog list anymore either, so what's the deal? The only reason I gave mine up was because of health problems. very frustrating!

  3. I appreciate you having your party, Katie! I went to one this week, and it was no longer, either. Your deck looks so pretty, and so does your wisteria! Thank goodness, the landscaper fixed the problem.

  5. Thanks for the party, Katie. You are so ambitious and your garden will be beautiful. I can't believe your wisteria. Mine is doing nothing yet and we didn't trim like we should have so when it does bloom it is way out of reach..Happy Wednesday..Judy
