Keep In Touch #76

Hi friends,
I just got in from cleaning up the tile mess.

Figuring out the configuration was hard.
In the end I felt like we had to start in the back corner.
This will be under the vanity.

This is how I left things last night at about five.

I'm a messy tiler.

Never say never but I will never take on a tile job again.
12 by 24 inch tiles are pretty but they are horrendous to deal with.
I spent about 6 hours on it yesterday.
I thought today's cuts would take about an hour.
I have been working since 11:30.
Four cuts took me 6 hours. I kept making stupid mistakes.
I will grout tomorrow, if I can stomach being on my hands and knees again.
We left the show as is. At some point we may redo it but in the meantime I don't want to spend anymore money.
I don't know how but a $100 floor can quickly turn into a $5,000 job.
Now for our features.
I feel like I owe you a few since I forgot the party last week.

Look at these flags from Follow The Yellow Brick Home.

This sled turned flag by A Day Of Small Things.

Adorable.

and
Sweet Milk Ice Cream from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen.

Now for the link up.
I'm off for a dip in my pool.

  4. Yes thank you for hosting the party! We have done 2 bath remodels and have been where you are! On our most recent we went with a LVF (luxury vinyl). We just needed a break! Also, we paid for a demo team and it was worth every dollar! Thank you Katie, laura
