Welcome to Keep In Touch.
Thanks for stopping in.
I'm still sneaking some Christmas-y but not necessarily Christmas decor into the house.
Years ago, I picked up a buffalo check valance at the thrift store. This is the first time is actually being used as a valance.
Old school ribbons are starting to adorn some of our artwork.
The pink floral ribbon on a black background has been highly prized for years around here.
Our boxwood wreaths have reappeared.
I love their simplicity.
We are hosting Thanksgiving dinner so the house still has a good representation of turkeys and such.
I may declutter and put a lot of it away before my family comes over though.
As soon as they roll down the street, I'm decorating for Christmas.
Bill and I attended the wedding of one of his co-workers.
It was at the Perot Museum in downtown Dallas.
We loved these light up frogs.
The iconic Reunion Tower.
We actually got to wander the museum while the family took photos.
The colors were navy and burgundy.
The cake was stunning.
Beautiful.
Now for the feature.
Our feature this week is Debbie from Debbie Dabble Christmas. She goes all out for holidays and even has a blog dedicated to all things Christmas. She has posted her first post of the season. Go and check it out.
I love Christmas like Deb!

Love all your pre-Christmas touches around the house. that frame with the plaid ribbon is really so vintage-y. gosh, your laundry room is so gorgeous with that little chandy!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all your plaid around your house, Katie. I've been to the Perot with my youngest son and granddaughter, and loved it. The wedding cake was stunning! Thank you so much for hosting and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThat wedding cake was a work of art! The black ribbon with the pink roses is lovely - I bet there's a story there. I know many have started decorating for Christmas, but I always hold out until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI love everything here and have a big smile! Love how you are sneaking in Christmas and the checks are just beautiful. I'll be hauling it all out the day after Thanksgiving but bringing it close so I can get on it right away that morning! And I might take down SOME of the fall a little before. We'll see!
