Sneak Peek At Christmas 2019

This year, I wanted a very cozy, cabin like Christmas.
It didn't come out exactly like I'd planned but I am just in love with my Christmas decor this year.

There is plaid.

There are checks.
There's vintage elements.

There are classic pieces.

These are my favorite decor items.

I think I'm finally finished.
It took about 6 partial days of decorating.
Whew.
Here's a look at my Thanksgiving centerpieces before they wilt away.

I told Bill that I'd probably get grief from a brother or two about the artsy arrangement of fruit, nuts, pinecones, orange slices and wood slices.
Sure enough, one of my brothers commented on the wood slices. Bill said, "Katie said you'd say something about it."
I found the branch in the woods. Bill cut it into slices for me. He had fun making them for me.
They add just the right woodsy, fall touch that I was going for.
The fruit mimics that in the center of the dishes.

We have four trees this year. The main tree looks the same but the other three look a little different.

 They were fun to create.

I am so in love with the dining room tree. I'll tell you more about it in another post.

Have a good evening!
Katie

  1. I'm in love with all of them, Katie! But that red and white gets a special smile! And your table is gorgeous. Oh, I wouldn't have teased you about the centerpiece but I would have praised it to the hilt! It all looks beautiful!
