Hello, Lovely Friends,
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I hope that you had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend.
We did.
I started my weekend early with a trip down to Cleburne, Texas.
Two great antique stores are down there.
One of them used to have a wonderful selection of white ironstone but she was running a little low.
I'm sure she isn't able to get out and get new stock for her store due to Covid.
I picked up a couple of pitchers, a vintage oil painting and a darling mini copper mold.
The Bus Depot is a darling store. I was able to find some brown glass for some autumnal color this fall.
I took Bill's car since my truck was all gassed up and ready for a trip out to the lake. I wrenched my back when I got out of the car at home. I did this once before because it rides so low to the ground. So frustrating. We left for the lake a few hours later. Unfortunately, I spent most of it hobbling around.
The weather was gorgeous. We were able to do a few water activities for one last time this summer.
I was ready to get the fall bins out as soon as we got home but I need to give this another day or so to heal.
I've done some retail therapy since giving up on the little farm. I'll have a designated post about my antique finds.
That's about it for me.
Now for the features.
I love these bird sightings from The Marmelade Gypsy.
I enjoyed catching up with Sarah from Hyacinths For The Soul.

I know you're disappointed about the farmhouse, but that was beyond fixing at anything like a tolerable cost. Good hunting!
ReplyDeleteI have a new bird sighting for you this week, Katie. And a fawn, a bride and more! Thanks for hosting and featuring my bird!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Katie!

ReplyDeleteI hope your back feels better soon. A wonky back is the pits!
ReplyDeleteShopping sure helps take our minds off disappointment. I'm so glad you all had a good inspector on the farmhouse. Seems like God shutting a door, so He will open a new one in His timing. Hope you're back is better soon!
