Happy Mother's Day!
I got a wonderful gift for Mother's Day.
My son's former employer flew him in to town to do some work this weekend.
I didn't think he would be back from N.Y. until Christmas.
For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a mommy.
I learned to nurture and love my children from her. I've missed her longer than I knew her. She taught me how to sew, knit, bake, cook and garden, even when she was sick. Ten short but fruitful years.
One day... and it will be a glorious day.
Mother's Day is always a bitter sweet day for me.
I know I'm not the only one.
A sweet blogger friend sent me this link last night.
It was precious to read and struck a cord with me.
Thank you, Jeanette for the link and your sweet note.
I hope and pray you all have a blessed Mother's Day.
It can be a joyous or painful one or both.
Hugs to you!
Katie
Happy Mother's Day, Katie! Glad you had a wonderful day! Love your photos :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good day with all your kids, Katie! I had all four of mine together for most of the afternoon, too, and it was pretty sweet.
