Keep In Touch Features/ Update On Dixie

Hi friends,
Thanks for your kind words on my last post.
You all are the best.

Our Dixie is recovering well. She was starting to act more like her old self by Tuesday. She's back protecting her domain in her favorite spot. We are safe from the squirrels!! ;)
Bill and I have post trauma exhaustion but it could be post bathroom remodel exhaustion too.
I can take a break in the afternoon but Bill has had a busy week at work so he's gotten no break at all.
I did some retail therapy yesterday.

It's full on fall in the retail stores.

Our first feature is from Debbie and Debbie Dabble Blog.
This is the cutest light house lantern.
It is darling!

How precious is this?

Next up are these darling stools and this great tutorial on how to make them.
I really want to do this. I just love stools.

I love this color lesson from My Hubbard Home.

Finally,
I love, love this rope swing from TeeDiddlyDee.
I loved swinging when I was a kid.
I wish I had a tree for this.

That is it for now.
My thoughts have turned to fall and fall decor.
I'll share some finds and the direction my decor will be going.
Until then,
Katie

  5. so glad Dixie is doing better. She needs to stick to squirrels and ignore the naughty dogs. I hate to admit it, but this time of summer I'm already over the hot weather. I'm just not a very "Summer" person. the white truck is adorable!

  8. I'm so glad Dixie is getting back to normal and that you are, too. What a horrible scare, on top of all the home-work. I hope to join in within a couple of weeks -- as you can see, I'm already behind!
