Keep In Touch #111

Hi friends,
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
How are you?
We are fine.
Texas is open for business.
Not much has changed for Bill and I. We are still sticking close to home.

What's been going on?
I celebrated a birthday.
Bill had one of those new fangled drive by parties for me.

He got me some completely adorable sheets.
He gets me.

I can't wait to put these on the bed. The cotton is sourced in the U.S. and they are milled here too.
I thought I'd share in case that is important to you.

Our daughter's birthday was the next day. She'd been eyeing my container garden so we got her some galvanized containers and some plants to get her started. We took it all to her on Sunday. It was the first time we'd been on a little road trip in over two months. It was amazing to get out.

We stopped by the new stadium on our way home from her house.

It is right next to where the Cowboys play. This is bigger than Jerry World - sorry, that's what I call it.

I think it will be used for graduation ceremonies later this month.
It's brand new and ready for baseball but it sits unused.
I was even going to go to a game now that it's air conditioned.

I've been puzzling and working in the yard in my spare time.

Now for the features:

This motorcycle is incredible. I can't crochet at all so this just amazes me.

Love this post by Debbie from Debbie Dabble.

I love these garden tags by DIY Vibes.

  1. Thank you for featuring my herb markers, Katie! We are still hankering down here in Illinois. I got a puzzle done with one of my daughters and am now trying to figure out how to make my twin 8th graders feel special since they would have graduated next week. Have a great week!

  5. Happy Birthday to you and your daughter. The plants and containers is an awesome gift. I'm sure she loved them. I can't crochet. My Grandma could and made a lot of beautiful things. I wish she would have taught me to do that. Have a great rest of your week!
