Keep In Touch # 121

Hi, Friends,
How are you?

Welcome to Keep In Touch.

Last week I shared some late summer flower inspiration.

I also shared an update to our laundry room.
I love the counter that Bill made for us.

Bill and I each had a project going over the weekend.
He is building me something for the garden.

I am giving the bathroom a mini refresh.

I'm so excited about this. It reminds me of my early blogging days.

Speaking of blogging, my blog is getting a bit of attention. The paint page has been updated.
I'm in the process of taking photos of all of our rooms without any seasonal or holiday decor. I have very little of that type of picture. We have done so much to the house in the last year, that's not really reflected in any of the room tours that I've done. I'll create a home tour page and update some photos on the paint page.
In five days, it will be exactly a year since we started getting the new wood floors installed.
It's time to finally get some new rugs to go with these floors. We started and then stopped when my step mom died. I realized that I never really showed the powder room update. It's been a year since we finished that.
I was about ready to get on it when the pandemic kept us indoors for months at a time. I went rug shopping today (w/ social distancing and mask) at a private design store. The rugs I liked were all hand knotted. Bill was "no."

Now for the features.

I love this clothesline advice by Heritage Home Ec.
I remember my grandmother's clothesline. I loved being out with her while she put stuff out on the line.

I'd love to have a clothesline.

This wood holder from @ Home With Ashley is darling. The new seating area around the fire pit is adorable too.

That is it for now.
Thank you all so much for your continued support.
I'll be back with my craft closet reveal and some craft that are in the works.
Have a great evening.
Katie

  1. I love all your new projects. It is the upside of staying home more that we can get more chores and projects done around the house.
