Christmas In The Master Bedroom

Hi, Beautiful Friends,
How are you doing?
I sincerely hope that you are well and that you are encouraged this holiday season.
It is taking work but I feel closer to our Savior than in years past.
I hope this is true for you as well.
Our room got the white tree this year.

I'll be honest, I see white trees on other blogs and I think they are gorgeous.
I put this one up and it is so/so.
This is the second time this tree was decorated this year. The first time it was dressed in red. Nope. It didn't look good at all. My other trees have a green garland or picks of some kind. That didn't work on this tree. The pales green frosted branch was the only green that this needed.
Soft pinks were the order of the day. I've only used our pink ornaments once so it was time to use them again. I do love it reflected in the mirror on the armoire.

The mantel is from one of my darling friends. It is perfect in between the two windows. I've missed my friends terribly this year. I think of my friend when I see how adorable the mantel looks in our room.
It's been so much fun decorating it for the seasons.

Black transferware, fairy lights and a fun garland from Raz Imports adorns the surface.

Our bed always gets a needlepoint pillow. The inspiration came from an issue of Victoria Magazine circa 1990. I've collected needlepoint pillows ever since.

The gray comforter set is a Tuesday Morning find. It is rotated in and out of use depending on the season.

A mini garland of tiny pink balls is strung across my vanity tray.

The Dept. 56 cottage was red. I repainted it last year to coordinate with my room. I rarely use red in our room but I always use black. It stands next to a pink mini tree. The tree is from Hobby Lobby but it's about three or four years old. I'm not sure if they still have something similar.

The chandelier was a curbside find. It gets a scrunch of black watch plaid fabric.

I also throw a square of it on the end of the bed.

The pink is pretty on a white tree even if it doesn't look like a magazine.
That is all for now.
Do you decorate your bedroom for Christmas?

  1. Your bedroom is just beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen the ceiling vault; so pretty and European. I agree with white trees. They really look best in pale soft colors instead of bright contrast. I think yours looks lovely and oh yes, that armoire is fabulous!

  3. I love that you buy what you think you'll like (like the red cottage) and make it into what you DO like! I really admire your freedom with changing up. And I also love that you have a mantel in your bedroom. It looks beautiful. (And the tree looks far better than you seem to think it does! I rather like it!)
