Keep In Touch #51

Hi friends.
Welcome to Keep In Touch.

Last week I shared:

I spent a small part of each day last week in the garage.
I worked on reviving my old bedside table. It has become my new side table in the living room. I'll have a reveal coming up.

I did some thrifting. I'm thinking about making a YouTube video of my thrifted finds. I'll link it in a blog post if I do.

We went out to the lake this past weekend. I didn't get any pictures. These two are older.
After a beautiful sunny morning, the weather turned cold and windy. We spotted an eagle in the short time we were sitting on the dock. I knew they were out there in the winter but I've looked for the last few years with no luck. This year we have seen three. A rare sighting in Texas even though they do spend the winter is parts of Texas. Texas is a great birding state, by the way.

Aside from a dinner out to the winery, we spent the weekend doing a puzzle.
I did create a new taste treat.
French Toast Cream Cheese Brownies.

It's the morsel that looks like a meatball. Haha.

Now for our feature.
This corn chowder from A Day of Small Things looks delicious. Perfect feature for a chilly winter day.

Now for the link up.
Spread the word if you will. I think some old link parties are finished or dying out so I'd love it if mine would grow a little.

  8. Katie,
Thanks so much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment on my post about Blogging!!!I so agree with you that Farmhouse may be on it's way out. I definitely think it is time for it to move on. I love color so i find farmhouse very bland and I laugh when I see what they are calling Farmhouse is just simply Vintage items from the 40's and 50's !!
I certainly do hope that the next Big Thing is a bit more colorful!! LOL! I am so glad that you decided to keep your linky party!!
    Have a great weekend!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie
